I don’t usually post stuff like this, but, woah.
Snow made a rare appearance on Fremont Street as Las Vegas celebrated the holiday season in December 1960. Fremont Street still retained some small town charm in 1960; the Mint Hotel and Casino is the only high-rise visible in this view from Main Street. (Ed Foster/Las Vegas Review-Journal)
Amazing. Snow on Fremont Street, 1960.
Here it is! My official Winter Music Mix! I’m sorry I’m so late getting it out there. ENJOY! Happy Holidays! Snuggle up for the winter!
My first response to the news that Joan Fontaine died was this:
OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND WINS!!!!
I know that seems callous, but their sibling rivalry was so epic that I’ve been maintaining for years now the only reason either of them were still alive was because neither one would give in to the other. So Joan finally gave in. So OLIVIA wins.
Oh shit guys! I haven’t posted on this thing in forever! Um…I got married! This is me on my wedding day! Yay!
