Tenderness of Heart

My Five Favorite Films of 2011 (in no particular order)3. X-Men: First Class directed by Matthew VaughnI enjoyed this film for two reasons: James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. They are so great together in this, sparking one of the hottest bromances this side of tumblr, that it nearly makes you go Patrick Ste-who? Ian McKe-who? I thought the script for this movie was a fantastic origin story. As things unfolded I was caught off guard but then went, “Of course! That explains it perfectly!” Lots of emotion and fun. We’ll just forget about January Jones’ awful performance as Emma Frost, shall we?
