Snoqualmie Falls and Wildflowers
Flying away from Las Vegas. I broke the rules and did not power my phone all the way off. But hey, what do you know? The plane did not crash.
Amsterdam rooftops. These photos were taken from the restaurant Blue which offers spectacular 360 degree views of the city. The food was pretty good too!
I love how this Amsterdam sunset throws into lovely perspective the hooks at the top of each tall house. These hooks are used with a pulley system to move furniture and other large bulky objects in and out of the buildings through the windows because the stairways are much too steep and narrow.
Driving up the canyon to my family’s cabin last night at 8pm we left behind rain in the valley. I had to stop the truck to snap this picture. It was so beautiful.
This is one corner of the Homomonument in Amsterdam laden with flowers. This corner of the larger triangle that forms the Homomonument juts out over the Keizersgracht canal. My friend Larae who lives in Amsterdam says there is never a day when it is not covered with flowers. It’s one of the most popularly visited monuments in Amsterdam.
